Wintergreen Essential Oil (Gaultheria Procumbens)
Native American Indiand used Wintergreen to combat aches and chewed it to improve breathing. Early Americans chewed the roots to prevent tooth decay. Winteren in rich in methyl salicilate which is the active ingredient in aspirin.

Properties: Wintergreen is very similar to Sweet Birch oil in chemical structure and aroma; likewise, both were used in traditional remedies.
