Lemon oil – The cleaning queen
Greeks and Romans used lemon therapeutically by the middle ages. The British used the citrus fruit to treat the effects of scurvy.
Common uses of Lemon essential oil:
antibacterial and antiseptic
-use in household cleaning when washing floors and disinfecting surfaces with vinegar and baking soda.
-Can help with warts, corns and verrucas
-Reduce excess sebum in oily skin, greasy hair
-Good as a toner or rinse
-Particularly good for acne prone skin
-Slight bleaching effect which can be used on skin with freckles or to bring out the highlights in blond hair
Scent: Citrus, Uplifting, Refreshing
Extraction Method: Cold Pressed
Caution: Do not expose treated skin to the sun. Use only diluted.
In my house I use Lemon oil mainly for cleaning, it has such a clean smell:)
